Prayer of Forgiving Others
Lord Jesus Christ, You commanded us to love our enemies and those who injure us. Instead of holding onto anger or bitterness, tonight we choose to pray for them and forgive them. In the moment of Your greatest pain, You prayed for Your enemies, that our Father would forgive those who chose to crucify You. Grant us, we pray, the spirit and ministry of reconciliation that we may forgive any and every pain and be reconciled with our enemies. Grant us to overcome offenses with humility and the true love of those we encounter. We ask You, Lord, to give to our enemies mercy, true peace, and forgiveness of sins; and do not allow them to leave this life without faith. And help us to repay evil with goodness, and to remain safe from the temptations of our adversary and from all that threatens us, in the form of visible and invisible enemies. Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer
9 Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
